Throughout Australia and New Zealand, practitioners enable children to become dry at night. Since 1954, Ramsey Coote has provided treatment to children and have manufactured bedwetting alarms. From our own and many practitioners' experience, we know that more than 95% of younger primary school children can become dry using bell and pad treatment under supervision of qualified practitioners.

Bell-and-pad training is appropriate for the younger primary children who have been at school three months or more and are not yet dry at night, particularly if they wet the bed every night. Also, particularly if there is a family history of bedwetting - "it runs in the family". Usually, the younger the child is, the shorter the time that child takes to become dry. Before primary school age, there are some do's and don'ts which may bring about dry nights. If your child is before primary school, link to the page on Treatment for "Younger Than Primary School Age".   For Bayside parents, see information nights below.

Parents should seek the best practice for enabling their children to become dry at night. These web pages will provide you with the background to finding the best providers of bedwetting treatment.

Experience of many practitioners who have high success rates is that many families come to  them after trying other methods that have failed. You may learn of families that have had success with other methods. That other methods have worked with some families is no guarantee that they will work with your child. This is a real difficulty for you - how to obtain the best advice before proceeding.

Our roles are to design and manufacture the best bell and pad and to provide bedwetting treatment service to our local community. We continue to monitor the experience of practitioners using our equipment. We review current research from around the world. We gather together this experience and research and provide it to practitioners, by listing references and by training workshops, so as to enable children to have highly successful treatment.

Information Nights. Locally, we hold information nights for parents of bedwetters each year at local Centres in Bayside City, Melbourne. This includes information for children not yet of primary school age. Ramsey Coote advertises these nights in local papers and through school newsletters.
