  Bell Control Unit Model M

The Model M Alarm provides two bells giving a louder sound to wake the heavily sleeping child. The control unit monitors the bed-pad until the child starts to wet. When the child wets, the control unit goes to alarm status, rings the first bell and lights up to show the waking child where to go to switch off the bell.  After a pre-set time delay if the alarm is not switched off by the child, the sound doubles in volume to assist the child in wakening.

The popularity of the Model M enabled Ramsey Coote to upgrade it. The photograph shows the new front panel with the two acoustic grills. The panel has the ON-OFF switch and charging indicator. Behind those grills we provide the same bell-metal domes as in the new Model N. The rear panel contains the connecting sockets and test switch.

The slow-to-wake child has the challenge to switch off the bell before the second bell rings. The parent and practitioner know how the child is progressing, from beating the bell and changing sizes of wet patches on the pad.

Bell Control Unit of Enuresis Alarm Model M

Our bell control unit consists of three main items:

Bell Control Unit.
Battery Charger - with unique plug.
Box - holds the unit and charger.

Key Benefits

Extra bell sound to wake the heavily sleeping child after time delay.
Multi-modal cast bells ringing with more higher frequency increasing the wakening stimulus.
Bright lamp to show where the alarm is(4 watts).
Charging light to show that battery is being charged.
High battery capacity, re-charging once each week through the day.
Durable - large rubber protectors against impact damage
Long Life - more than 20 years, proven in public health use.
Simple operation for the child - one red lever to switch on and off.

Alternating Current Bell Operation

Alternating current bells give a louder sound to improve wakening of the child. The acoustic outlet of the bell is in the front panel. An internal baffle directs more of the sound to this outlet.

This control unit reduces electromagnet radiation with alternating current operation of its bell. A by-product of this operation is reduced current consumption. Furthermore, AC bells have more than twice the service life of the former direct current bells.

Maintainability

This alarm's design provides for easy change over of lamps and batteries.

Spare parts include boxes to help protect and assure the long life of the control unit
and battery chargers.
